The Glengarry Pipers will have a new home next season, relocating to Akwesasne and rebranding as the Akwesasne Snappers. Team owner Ryan MacLeod cited financial challenges as the reason for the move, expressing gratitude to local sponsors and supporters over the past two seasons. While the team will now play in Akwesasne, MacLeod promises a strong lineup blending Glengarry and Akwesasne talent, with potential for former Pipers’ coach Max Sauve to come out of retirement.
